Nevada Politician Wins MMA Fight

Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller (D) won his mixed martial arts debut and then immediately retired from the sport, the Las Vegas Review Journal reports.

Said Miller: “I’m one and done. Competing in an MMA event was on my bucket list. Now that I’ve got done it I’ve got a day job and an important election coming up.”

Miller’s walkout music was, Fortunate Son, a reference to his father, former Nevada Gov. Robert Miller, who often took young Ross to boxing matches.
