From the GREAT STATE OF MAINE…
Only 16 Weeks ’til Netroots Nation!
June 7 may seem like a long ways away here in the dead of winter, but given how time’s been flying lately (for me, anyway—what the hell happened to January?) the start of Netroots Nation in Providence, Rhode Island will be here before ya know it. And the benevolent elves working behind the scenes have something special for your business or organization. Linda Lee explains:
In an effort to bring in new community organizations that might have fewer resources, we will offer six free booths in this year’s Exhibit Hall. The top three vote-getters in our online contest will automatically get a booth in the Hall. The rest of the entrants will go through a second round where a panel of judges will decide, based on merit, which three entrants will receive the last three spots.
And to sweeten the deal, the top three vote-getters will also receive two comped registrations each to Netroots Nation. What a deal!
With more than 2,000 people attending Netroots Nation every year as well as the growing popularity of our Community and Exhibit Hall, this is a great chance for your group or company to get in front of engaged progressives from throughout the country.
The contest applies specifically to non-profit c3 and c4 organizations and qualified small businesses who haven’t exhibited at YearlyKos/Netroots Nation yet. Submissions will be accepted through February 28th. Online voting will take place between Feb. 29th (yeah, 2012 is a leap year) and March 14. Winners will be announced next month. (And unlike the Republican primaries and caucuses, we’ll get it right the first time.)

Good luck and good boothing!
P.S. If you need ‘em, the regular Netroots Nation registration link is here and the official hotel info is here.
