SPIRIT AIRLINES ABUSES ON ITS VERY OWN PASSENGERS MAKING THEM WAIT FOR 16 HOURS STRAIGHT AT LAGUARDIA AIRPORT NO PROVIDING FOR ANYTHING, NO EVEN A GLASS OF WATER. AS YOU CAN IMAGINE PEOPLE STARTED TO GET IRRITATED AS YOU CAN SEE ON THIS VIDEO SHOT AT LAGUARDIA AIRPORT ON THE EARLY HOURS OF MONDAY MARCH 22, 2010
Weekend getaways … fly Continental or American
Airlines promote cheap flights on weekend because that’s when business travelers tend to stay home. Carriers have got to find ways to fill their seats. You can cash in big, scratch your weekend wanderlust, and do so without having to book weeks ahead.
Continental Airlines lets you fly out Friday Sept. 16 after 7 p.m.–or all day Saturday Sept. 17–and then return Monday Sept. 19 or Tuesday Sept. 20. You’ve got to book and buy your seat no later than Friday, Sept. 16 by 11:59pm Central Time.
Do that and lots of opportunities open up. Here are a few. Fares are roundtrip, and do not include taxes or fees.
- Cleveland flights to Los Angeles are $ 307.
- Cleveland flights to New York LaGuardia are $ 147.
- Ft. Lauderdale flights to New York/Newark are $ 307.
- Houston flights to Calgary are $ 321.
- Houston flights to Gulfport/Biloxi are $ 147.
- Houston flights to Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago are $ 456.
- New York/Newark flights to Halifax are $ 214.
American Airlines has a similar set-up. Fly out Friday after 7pm or all day Saturday. Return Monday Sept. 19 or Tuesday Sept. 20. Get your ticket by Friday Sept. 16 at 11:59pm Central Time.
American lists its flights on a one-way basis. You’ve got to make a roundtrip purchase to get the deal. Taxes and fees are not included.
- Miami flights to Baltimore/Washington are $ 79.
- Chicago flights to West Palm Bach are $ 111.
- Washington Dulles flights to Corpus Christi are $ 112.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth flights to Corpus Christi are $ 62.
- Dallas/Ft. Worth flights to St. Louis are $ 76.
- Minneapolis/St. Paul flights to Dallas/Ft. Worth are $ 94.
- Albuquerque flights to Los Angeles are $ 71.

If you purchase a ticket for a date, time then you should be on that plane. The only escapable reason for a delay is act of nature or government, otherwise it is fraud. Over booking, mechanical reasons are fraud and the airline should be fined. Besides that Customers should be compensated at 5 X hr wage food, hotel rooms.
Maybe if these people weren’t cheap and flew a reputable airline they wouldn’t have put themselves in this situation.

GOD these videos piss me off. These moronic people in every one of these videos make me so mad. They attack the gate agents like non other. No wonder they can give poor costumer service, look at what they deal with on a daily basis? If a flight is delayed, that’s too bad. Deal with it. They can’t do anything..ugh this behavior is so horrible. white trash bad attitude human behavior.
Never ever fly with fauking spirit airline. Flying from LA to Dallas, we were supposed to land in Las Vegas for few minutes and continue to Dallas with the same plane. We ended up waiting 5 hours in Las Vegas airport, they told us the plane had a problem, but when they were talking together I heard the reason that they delayed our flight was to combine it with another flight since they didn’t have enough passengers to fill the airplane. Those fauking bastards.
After arriving at Dallas, we were told that our luggage have gone to Chicago from Las Vegas!!
So we had to wait another 2 hours in the airport to do the paper work, and they promised us to deliver it the following morning. The following day in the noon I received a call that they would deliver it the one day later. Finally I received the luggage 3 days after the horrible flight, and it was broken. Do not ever ever think about flying with spirit.

all people who complain about discount carriers are fucken retards, you pay for what you get, a budget airline that dosn’t have the same ability to offer redundancies like larger carriers…so if you pay $20 for your ticket and normally pay $150 be prepard that if something goes wrong with the aircraft you may have to wait a while! btw airlines dont keep a spare plane in the garage that you and your whiney mates can just get onto!!!
Fly JetBlue or the New United instead!!! They are much better all around.
Fucking Spirt,anyone remember the big strike last year? Yeah,you know when they mentioned that cruise ship passengers in Ft.Lauderdale were needing flights back? Yeah,I just got off the Oasis Of The Seas and Spirit was fucking on strike. Seats are too small and these punk-ass little kids go crazy and draw all over the seats. There are pieces missing in the seating!

the same thing happend to me and my mom and sister, but it worst cuz it was new years day plus ours lasted 31 hrs and then we had to go on the flight
spirit sucks ass, i had to wait for 9 hours at laguardua and after the plane took off they forgot to load our luggage! took them 2 days to get our luggage. pos airlines!

Wow how embarrassing to be one of those passengers especially that woman that put her child to gain sympathy, I’ve flown on that flight 703 and it’s at 9 so 16 hour delay?? Bullshit and it was probably weather or a ground air traffic control stop.. If I worked there I would call security too and ignore all those animals!
