On the trip back from BKK-SEA with 12 hours lay over (12June 2011) I decided to explore every corner, shopping stores, food vendors in this airport instead of taking free city tour as I used to. I liked 95% of what ICN terminal offered to transist passengers, but watch out for the price of shower kits. Asiana airline lounge offer 50% off for transist passengers(buffet, bars, internet access) $84USD for 4 hours spending inside airline lounge. Without 50% off you figure the sum.

@Boxingfan1124 The Spa is open 24hrs. As for a shower, you’ll need to ask Information for that.

  9. Boxingfan1124 says:

the thing is I will be arriving in Korea at 4am because it is a stop over going to the Philippines.-_-” so hopefully the airport won’t be boring. And My flight is pretty long. Is there a place to shower? instead of the spa? or will it even be open?

Incheon Airport is chosen as #1 international airport.

I could understand when I got there several years ago.

    It was just FANTASTIC.

@LeeClaxton Go to Beijin or Shanghai and eat a lot of dust. You do not need to come here and leave stupid comment like yours.

CNN article said 2 days ago “50 reasons why Seoul is the greatest city in the world”

    Read it.

@bodingoji Thank you for your comment. Not really a commercial, but it was sponsored by Korea.Net. However, I was in total control of all content and it does reflect my real opinion of the airport and its services.

  17. bodingoji says:

and i just realize that this is actually a commercial :)

  20. stephaniepike27 says:

@LeeClaxton Have you not heard of Lotte World and Everland/Caribbean Bay?? Those are great theme parks… And Seoul is full of history tours, try going to Insadong, there is a lot of historical things there!

In Dec 10, I took Hanna free city tour for inbound flights BKK-ICN-SEA. But I don’t like to go through security check point again when I just got off from Trans Pacific flight on outbound SEA-ICN-BKK within 50 minutes transfer frm one terminal to another. I literally run like hell to get to a long line security check point in ICN to make to the gate on time. Transfer passenger should skip the security check. My next trip in May 11, I’ll drop a letter to airport manager about this issue

Wow…that was amazing…I really want to go to Korea…wow, nice airport…Mmm, I have one question: Are the services too expensive there?…for example the SPA AIR?…Thanks for sharing :)
